As I drive around my fair State of South Carolina, I am amazed at some of the things that we have offered up to the world.  Spartanburg is one of those cities in SC where things happen.  One of them is the Spartanburg Music Trail.  “The Spartanburg Music Trail honors musicians from Spartanburg who have made a national or international impact in the world of music. Here are some of the big names that have come out of Spartanburg.  David Ball, who had a huge hit song in the ’90’s with “Thinking Problem.”  Don Renos was one of the founding fathers of the bluegrass movement and was one of the original players of “Duelin’ Banjos.”  One of the biggest stars of all to come out of Spartanburg is Buck Trent.  Buck Trent came into our homes on a regular basis as a regular on Hee Haw Variety Show.  I remember seeing him at Twitty City in Nashville, TN when I was in grade school.  I remember how funny he was, and how kind when he gave me his autograph.
